FHM+ Training App


FHM’s monthly strength training program includes a full month’s worth of progressive overload workouts that will target and train your whole body.

We operate on a monthly basis, which means that we will be repeating the same workouts for a total of 4 weeks at a time before moving on to the next training block. This structure allows us to effectively apply progressive overload over the course of the month while also preventing boredom and burnout.

All workouts can be done either at home or the gym, but form videos are tailored to those working out at home with dumbbells and bands.


Weekly Workout Schedule

Our weekly workout split will look like this:

  • Day 1: Upper Body + Core
  • Day 2: Lower Body
  • Day 3: Upper Body + Core
  • Day 4: Lower Body
  • Day 5: Full Body (optional)

FHM Active Cost


Equipment Required 

All FHM Active workouts are designed to be done at home, however, they can easily be scaled to be used in a gym setting, too!

FHM Active workouts require the following equipment:

  • An assortment of dumbbells
  • Long loop resistance bands
  • Mini resistance bands
  • Bench (or some kind of flat, elevated surface)


Will I need a barbell?

No, you don't need a barbell, however, if you find that you're maxing out your potential with your dumbbells, and it's within your budget, a barbell will certainly come in handy. All form videos are filmed with dumbbells.

The exercise calls for dumbbells but I'd like to use my barbell; can I?

Absolutely! If you have access to a barbell, use it! We wanted to make our workouts approachable to those who are at home and have limited access to equipment, however, if you have access to more weights and machines, it's highly recommended that you take advantage.

What if I can't do an exercise?

If you come across an exercise that you either cannot do for some reason (injury, pain, confusion, etc), you can click on the three dots next to the exercise and find a substitution. You can also check the description box for each exercise for any specific substitutions. If you have any questions, you can reach out to me via the in-app messenger.

Can I log all of my food in the app?

Yes, there's a full library of foods to choose from as well as a barcode scanner that can be utilized for food logging. PLUS, if you use My Fitness Pal, you can sync your account!

What's your cancellation policy?

To cancel your monthly membership, you can do that right in the app under the settings. There are no refunds once the payment has been submitted, so if you want to cancel the month-to-month, you must do it before it bills!
